Only basil and cilantro will work. Sprouting Garlic taste bitter. The garlic sprouts/green garlic used in Far-east cuisine is a different plant. All others are biennial plants and will try to flower. Brassicacea (most of them) will develop a bitter taste when flowering the other will just be weak.
